Azelaic Acid in Morning Routine
Post Content
I was recently prescribed 15% azelaic acid gel and was wondering what was the best way to incorporate it into my morning skin care routine. I started using it as my first step but i’m not sure if this is the best way to use since i’ve heard mixed opinions. Here is my routine and the products I use: \- water rinse \- azelaic acid 15% gel (wait 10 mins) \- I’m from Mugwort Essence \- I’m from Milky Rice Toner \- Soo’ae phyto collagen replenishing mist (to keep my face damp for the next step) \- Inkey List Ectoin Hydro Barrier Serum \- eye cream \- sun screen I use a lot of hydrating products because I wear makeup and skin prep is important for that since i use .05 tret and my skin is dry and sometimes peels. My overall question is if it’s better to use azelaic acid as my first step, or last step ( before sunscreen) ?
