Abdominal pain for a month

Post Content

Age: 39 Female - Straight (She/Her) 180 lbs 5’6” 6 cigarettes a day smoker Medication: Zoloft 150 mgs/day 0.5 mgs alprazolam/night Cptsd Panic and anxiety disorders January 13th I had my period induced by progesterone. It had been a few months since my period before that. I’m not on birth control. I have PCOS. My last period lasted about 8 days and was very painful and heavy. I had about a day of relief when it ended but a pain and discomfort began primarily on my right side. The pain continued and got worse for a week. I called OBGYN, they said go to the ER. Then another week of taking Advil and the pain worsening I called the doctor. Doctor called to cancel telling me to go to the ER. I go to the ER. Cat scan and ultra sound done. They said my appendix seemed fine and I just have cysts on my left side but they couldn’t find anything else. They said maybe I strained a muscle, but I know I haven’t. They said there’s nothing more they can do. I was hoping given these results the pain would go away. It’s only gotten worse. I called the OBGYN and they just told me doctors are on vacation like they said the week before. I’m told to go to the ER. I’m getting passed around and disregarded. I was weeping on the phone because I can’t walk now. They did nothing. But these same people did nothing when I was raped last year and I was asked inappropriate questions and faced punishment and misogyny. Especially from women.
