Mood swing help

Post Content

Hello, 37, medically induced menopause due to ER/PR+ HER2 negative breast cancer, so no HRT for me right now. I am currently in therapy for a variety of other reasons (bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD) and are on a mood stabilizer and antidepressants. We’re both fully convinced that the ADHD is bought on by the menopause because I’ve not had symptoms prior. My therapist is aware of the menopause and mood swings and we have been trying to adjust my meds to compensate, but so far it’s not really working. My therapist is at a bit of a loss because she usually starts her menopausal patients on HRT, but I can’t because my tits decided that they wanted to be rude and grow a tumor. Does anyone have any non-medication, non hormone based, non marijuana/THC/CBD (medical isn’t allowed in my state yet) tips on how to deal with these? Right now my biggest thing is that I have become a crier, which is no good because 1) I am an uglyyyyyy crier and 2) kind of not appropriate to cry over the fact that your manager is a dick. I also usually end up in a funk all day after one, despite my best efforts to break myself out of it. Thank yall in advance for any help.
