I feel nothing from pap smears

Am I numb or something? I’m 24 and always see people talking about how awful, demeaning, and painful pap smears are and I feel absolutely nothing. Changing and putting in a new tampon is more of a hindrance than any pap smear I’ve had. It seems like everyone has only experienced pain from them and I just want to know that I’m not crazy and not the only person who feels no pain from them. I want to note that I am a HIGHLY sensitive person. I will not get tattoos because of pain, I am pained by a simple push of a finger from someone on my body (bruised even) and I could barley start plucking my eyebrows till age 22 because of the pain. Those are just a few examples that come to mind.
