how do you guys actually stay consistent with productivity apps?

hey y'all, I'm back hehe, just trynna make sense of things for pshyc class, so does anyone here have any hacks for actually sticking to a productivity app? i feel like i’ve tried a lot of apps out there. most of them are actually pretty good, but i still end up quitting after a week or two. i’m just curious if any of you have found a way to make something stick, and if so, what was it about that specific app that made it work? and if you’re someone who can’t stay consistent (like me), what do you think is usually the dealbreaker? is there something specific that would actually make it worth using every day, or are we all just better off using paper at this point?
