Why Mods allow affiliate links here? So many that it became ridiculous.

I keep noticing more and more affiliate posts, or even brands promoting themselves, like Medik8, Timeless, Skinceuticals, etc., in this subreddit. For example, this one: [https://www.reddit.com/r/30PlusSkinCare/comments/1o1g16r/whats\_the\_best\_retinol\_product\_youve\_tried/](https://www.reddit.com/r/30PlusSkinCare/comments/1o1g16r/whats_the_best_retinol_product_youve_tried/) Just click the link and you’ll see it’s an affiliate link. I’ve even reached out to the mods multiple times on different threads and they just ignore it. I’m starting to think they might be working with these companies, or maybe they really just missed my messages, but it’s a shame that so many people fall for it.
