Well, I herniated my disc again

Post Content

Let this be a cautionary tale to all those who once had sciatica that went away. I had a microdiscectomy 5 years ago because of a disc herniation causing debilitating sciatica. In December I stupidly decided to lift a heavy coffee table by myself. My previous back issues were a distant memory to me. Surely, I couldn’t herniate my disc again after so much time? Well after a night in the ER due to intense sciatica pain, DO NOT think you can’t herniate your disc again. I’m learning that lesson the hard way.
