About to start my BP meds Journey any advice

Im (m) 52 from the uk been pestered by the drs for at least 5 years to think about meds after a few trips to A&E with high BP and pain, my average is 145/95, 80 pulse but can be low has 120/80 and ive hit highs of 180/110. Ive always said ill try to reduce naturally which has not happened, so I have an appointment in 2 weeks what sort of meds will I be offered do they start of with low doses etc? Im notoriously susceptible to side effects to many other medics ive had to take. Also im not a massive drinker or weed user do I need to stop these? Also the embarrassing question occasionally at party's and special occasions I use ED to help prolong the fun normally 2.5mg cialis or 25mg sildenifel would these have to stop too?
