Advice for Dyshidrotic Eczema?

Post Content

Hi :) I'm 22 and have a long history with eczema, during my childhood I got it in the "regular" places pretty often (inner elbows and knees, arms etc.) For YEARS it cleared up - just the usual avoiding harsh products. Until 2019 when I started regularly flaring up on my hands. I'd experienced it once before when I was 11(ish), more spread out than I do now. My flare ups are rarely severe enough to warrant a gp visit, but they are just SO persistent! I have prescription ointment for it, with the major downside of making everything greasy when I use it, but the thing that bugs me the most is the persistent dry, peeling skin on my hands. My palm has had a consistent discoloured peeling patch for the past 3 years and constantly catches on fabric and yarn (I crochet ;-;), on top of that my phone's fingerprint scanner isn't even an option anymore because of how inconsistent my prints are. I'm begging for any advice on how to make my skin chill out and soften a bit?? Any products that people recommend?
