6 week progress concern

Howdy, I started trying to get in shape about 6 weeks ago but progress has not been encouraging. For note I use a renpho scale for all my numbers and am 6 foot 5. 6 weeks ago I weighed in at 243 lbs and 25% body fat. I am currently attempting to do a body recomp program. The plan has been to aim for 2200 calories daily avg and 180g protein. I am doing heavy lifting 4 days a week with 2 days of cardio. I follow a simple push pull legs schedule. Push: Bench press Incline dumbbell bench press Dumbbell shoulder press Assisted dips Tricep extensions Lateral raises Pull: Assisted pull ups Mid back row Low rows Rear delt flys Leg: Barbell back squat Rdls Optional calf raises Cardio is usually 30 mins 170 avg hr. After about 6 weeks I have weighed in at 250 lbs and 27% body fat. I believe I have been quite faithful to my cal and protein goals (I use a digital scale to measure everything). I also have 2 protein shakes a day from orgain (2 scoops 30g protein with bcaas etc). I have obviously had days way above 2200 and days below it, but my avg calories per day has been between 2200 and 2400. I estimated that my daily calorie expenditure would be around 2600 (I have a pretty sedentary life style and could definitely get more steps. Im at about 3k steps a day). All of my lifts have been progressing. Bench went from 115 to 145, squat 135 to 165. Im not the strongest guy but im getting good progress so the scale being the way it is has left me a bit confused. Does anyone have any idea if im missing something, or is the issue just that the scale sucks or im lying to myself about number of calories im consuming? Please let me know if im leaving out any information, im more than happy to provide more details.
