Acne Regimen ?

Hi everyone! I suffer from acne and I was using spironolactone which was AMAZING! But my husband and I are trying to conceive and it is not safe for pregnancy. Since I quit taking it my acne is back in full force especially around my period and ovulation. What pregnancy safe things do you guys use? I was prescribed topical Azelaic acid but I don’t think it really helps
