Anyone disclosed to a doctor before?

I have been on a couple dates with a doctor who just finished his residency. I would think he has learned quite a bit about herpes, which relieves some of the education aspect of disclosing. If you disclosed to a doctor or someone in the medical field, how did it go?! Of course everyone will be different, but I would hope doctors would tend to be more understanding about it…for some reason I’m just terrified to disclose to him, maybe based on his “status” and $$. Thank you!
