Help needed for face skin
Post Content
Hi all, I am a South Asian woman aged 31 going on 32. I have been having trouble with improving my facial skin texture (picture below). I don’t know how to get rid of the bumps and discoloration and I want to improve the skin tone. I also have eczema on my eyelids and I have been wearing glasses all my life which has caused the under eye to sunken a bit. I live in a place with cold, dry winters and warm, humid summers. For the eczema, I have tried using Vaseline on the eyelids to keep them moisturized and that has helped. Occasionally, if it gets very bad, I use opzelura prescribed by my dermatologist. I am outlining my routine below. I am looking for suggestions on what to do - what to cut and what to add to improve my face skin. AM: Wash face with warm water Use prequel hypochlorous acid and do Gua sha (I wash the Gua sha with soapy water before and after use) Allow the hypochlorous acid to dry and then use Shiseido treatment softener enriched for normal, dry and very dry skin Use beauty of joseon revive serum with ginseng and snail mucin Use cerave PM face moisturizing lotion If stepping out, use Shiseido mineral sunscreen 60 spf PM: 1. Use a cotton pad and Mustela Stelatopia Eczema-Prone Skin Cleansing Oil to cleanse 2. Used to use dermalogica daily superfoliant but now use drmtlgy micro dermasion scrub a couple times a week (esp if I have used sunscreen and gone out) 3. Use cetaphil hydrating gentle skin cleanser 4. Recently started using a serum from Prose with hyaluronic acid, amino acid, mango leaf extract, bakuchiol Once a week, I use differin gel and once a week I use timeless Vitamin C serum. Both of these have caused some breakouts so I don’t use them regularly.
