Question About Auras

Post Content

Long story kind of short, I was rear ended a few months ago and ever since then whenever I get a migraine it hits quite a bit harder than before the accident. I was referred to a pain management specialist who asked me if I experience auras with my migraines. One time I had an olfactory hallucination so I know that was an aura, but I'm curious if one of the other common reactions I have with migraines would be considered an aura. Best way I can think to describe it is like if you were watching a movie in a theater and then walk outside into the mid-day sun. It's not that your vision is blurry, you just can't really focus on anything. Except when it comes to my migraines it doesn't go away after a minute or so when my eyes have had a chance to adjust. No spots or anything else, I just have a sort of tunnel vision where it's difficult to really focus on anything. Would that be considered an aura?
