Can someone explain to me follicles in pcos please?

Post Content

\*This post will talk about ttc\* Ive had pcos for a lot of years now and it was never actually explained to me what it is. I recently seen my gynae doctor to rule out endometriosis and thankfully the mri showed no signs of endometriosis. however, something that my gynae doctor said has confused me. he said that from a fertility perspective (we've been trying for nearly 2 years now) the mri showed that i had several small follicles, he did say that this was good but we need a big follicle. ofcourse ive googled and it says that having small follicles is not good. Im confused because he definitely said it in a hopeful way? does anyone understand this stuff? especially when it comes to ttc.
