Coffee makes me ravenous but an iced Matcha latte suppresses appetite
Post Content
Over the last Five years back something changed. Coffee no longer worked as a hunger suppressant and instead began to make me ravenous (black or milk/sugar). At night it often felt like I had a gaping hole in my stomach that no amount of food would fill. Also, mid-afternoon, I would get bizarre alcohol cravings. 30+ pounds later I decided to stop coffee and replace it with red label tea and the feeling subsided. Lately, I've been having small iced matcha tea (semi-skimmed) in the afternoon and i'm getting the old hunger suppressant effect which is surprising. Wondering if anyone went through something similar to compare notes. I'm cautiously optimistic now of reversing the weight gain using the matcha latte as a tool.
