Tretinoin didn't worked, I'm gonna try Adapalene: which is the best routine?

Hi everyone, I'd like to use adapalene to improve my skin (I don't have acne) and for anti-aging, scar, and wrinkle removal. I've seen that the best retinoid I could use is adapalene, as it would allow me to sunbathe and tan...at least a little. Tret (which I've already tried and it dried out my skin too much and I felt it burning) and taz don't allow me to tan. So I'd like to know what form of adapalene to buy, what's the best frequency, routine, and percentage I can buy in Italy?
