How to get the motivation and energy boost from Wellbutrin while taking Strattera?

Post Content

Hey y'all. This is very specific, but I'm hoping someone else has figured this out so I don't have to do quite as much trial and error. I was taking Wellbutrin in the fall and loved the energy I felt on it and how focused/motivated I was, especially if I had a little caffeine with it. Unfortunately, the side effects were rough and I switched over to Strattera in December. I've been slowly working up to 60mg over the past 10 weeks. Anyone who has figured out how to get that energy spike and motivation/focus boost while taking Strattera: what worked for you? Was there a combination of activities or food or other meds or supplements that helped? I'm working on a novel and I can't seem to synthesize anything I'm inputting into my brain. High level cognitive thinking feels impossible. Even reading for fun is hard right now. I'm also a flight attendant and have a 3 year old, so being tired all the time is a real drain and makes working/parenting that much harder. Anyone found something that helps with any of this? Thanks in advance and hope you have a great day <3
