vaginal estrogen cream + dating question

Hi everyone, I’m 38 and in premature menopause/perimenopause. I’m on systemic HRT and was prescribed vaginal estrogen cream 2–3 times a week. My issue is that it doesn’t seem to fully absorb. It often leaks out on the third day, so if I use it twice a week, I basically feel like I constantly have cream in my vagina. This is really affecting my dating life. I’m worried about whether it’s safe for male partners if there’s still cream present during sex, both penetrative sex and oral sex. I dont want to have oral sex with the cream inside, and I have it like all the time because it does not absorb and it does not leak out. Because of this, I’ve avoided using it consistently, even though I should because off the dryness and stuff. How do you handle this in real life? Thank you 💛
