Help interpreting testosterone results

Howdy, I recently went to get my labs done here are results. I’m struggling to understand a discrepancy and not tally believing the doctor because there’s so much conflicting info online Male: 24 172 lbs decently lean 5”7 My total testosterone 743 ng/dl Free testosterone 13.9 pg/ml I’ve seen all over that normal ranges for free t are 50-150 whereas my labs reference was 9-26 I haven’t had SHBG tested yet mostly because my doctor is insistent that those results are normal. It just seems odd to have one in the upper quartile and one in the lower and not have that be an issue. I know testing types can make it differ.
