Low testosterone levels and risks with it scare me, but I want to continue with my transition.

I have a testosterone level of 54, after 3 months of HRT. I have read up on the risks, and quite frankly they scare me. But also the thought not continuing with the therapy also scares me. Has anyone experienced anything similar to this? If you have, how did you ultimately come to terms with it?
