Migraines and Hair loss
Post Content
Hello everyone, I’m currently 4 months postpartum and I feel my body returning to it’s pregnancy self. I had a wonderful pregnancy, no sickness or aches. My skin was glowing and hair was growing thicker and fuller. Before I got pregnant, I had really bad migraines randomly throughout the week. Accompanied by vomiting and blurry vision. We did a MRI - came back normal. My doctor suggested drink more water/ take vitamins. I would say twice a week I would be in so much pain from headaches. I eat pretty healthy, work out a lot bc I’m in the military. It really affected my work, school, and overall quality of life. Also, my hair was shedding a lot when I shampoo, brush, etc. I used satin pillow case, bonnet, braid before bed. Still wake up with lots of fall outs on the bed. I don’t have any bald spots tho, just lots of baby hair (regrowth). Except for the center back of my head, you can tell my hair is thinning when I do a middle part. My husband always says that I shed worst than our dogs. However, all of that went away once I got pregnant. No migraines/ headaches/vomitting/hairloss. Everything was great. Which makes me think this is a hormone issue. I’m not educated on this but currently doing research. I scheduled another appointment with my doctor but it’s not for another month and a half. I’m suffering rn. Anyone has a familiar story? Any doctor or nurses in here that could shed some light on this matter? I need help.
