How long did it take for HRT/MHT to start having an effect for you?

I started MHT (estrogen gel and progesterone pill) three days ago, and I guess I'm getting impatient with seeing any change yet, especially having heard from others how their very first dose changed their whole life and now they're thriving and glowing and... and because the mess my mind and body have become thanks to peri has made me lose any last drop of patience and sanity I've ever had. And yes, I know that results may, and will, vary, but I'm just at the end of my rope with the wreck peri has made of my life and I'm hoping and praying for any small relief from it.
