Weight Loss Comprehensive Program?
Post Content
Looking to see if anyone knows what this is -exactly- that insurance wants to see because I’ve been getting the runaround. I was on Zepbound, got pregnant, stopped it and now would like to restart it at 4 months PP. CVS Caremark, it’s on the formulary so it can be covered, but I got denied because apparently I didn’t provide proof of a weight loss comprehensive program. I’ve been seeing the dietician at my PCP since I was 8 months pregnant to try to get this ball rolling. Every month, a weigh in, nutrition discussion, exercise discussion, overall well being discussion and now I’m being told that’s not good enough? It was the first time I got the drug. I’m also being told they do not want Weight Watchers or Noom by the insurance. So what the heck do they want? I qualify on BMI pathway alone. I’ve read the criteria used for the prior auth and I qualify so I’m at a loss.
