I’ve been having constant UTI’s for abouttt 3-5 years and its only gotten worse. I’ve had moments where it burns so bad when I urinate and I’m always told I tested negative for any sort of infection. As of recently, about 8 months now, it has never gone away. I haven’t peed normally without a weird feeling or excruciating pain for a very long time and it drives me nutzo. This is also causing some issues in my relationship because I genuinely cant take anything penetrating me, it hurts so bad and is unbearable, it is so disappointing. Finally I get to go to the gyno after waiting a while after I told me primary physician. I go in there, take a pee test, they insert the speculum and I wince in pain, not from the vaginal opening, but in my urethra. My gyno instantly took the speculum out after I said this and she said “alright im referring you to a urologist, everything looks fine, uti test came back negative, i cant help you here”. Ive done so much research: cut out sugar for a while, thought it was candida so i did a cleanse and it did nothing, tried to take d-mannose everyday AND it was the one that is not derived from corn(it also had cranberry in it), stopped drinking sodas kratom alcohol, drank lots of water, cut out a bunch of fragranced shower stuff for a bit, wipe with water wipes EVERYTIME I PEE, only wash intimate areas with warm water, wash underwear and anything that touched my privates in hot water with dr bronners. Absolutely nothing helped fully, maybe a slight difference but nothing! I am almost SURE that I have interstitial cystitis. Can’t afford a urologist appointment since I have a rly bad financial situation rn. I take ibuprofen and Phenazopyridine like every other day and worried ill have liver failure when im 35😭😭. PLEASEEEEE HELPPPPP
