28M – foot pain for 3 months

Post Content

Hey docs, 3 months ago I felt pain in my left foot while putting on my shoes. Then later I noticed sharp pain whenever I put pressure on my arch. Since then it still hasn’t improved much. It started as navicular tenderness on touch. Then the sharp arch pain. Now it’s a deep, dull, throbbing ache, even at rest. The pain kind of shifted a bit so now it's also behind/below the inner ankle. I got some imaging done, this was the reports. * X-ray: Ruled out accessory navicular. * MRI: mild spring ligament sprain, mild posterior tibiotalar (deltoid) sprain, small effusion Frustratingly, even after 3 months I still find it difficult and painful to walk normally. Does it make sense that it's been so long from just a "mild" sprain, or could there be some other issue that wasn't picked up on the MRI report live a stress fracture? Is there any treatment for it to heal faster. Would a boot or some other treatment help? I can share MRI images if helpful. Thanks for the input.
