Not prediabetic but desperate for weight loss

Post Content

30F, 5’2”, 146 lbs (BMI \~26.7), goal weight 120. I have PCOS, normal A1C, slightly high triglycerides, not prediabetic. PCP suggested phentermine/anti depressant also insurance won’t cover Zepbound since I don’t meet BMI criteria. But I’m willing to Pay out of pocket but is it worth it? Has anyone in a similar BMI range used Zepbound short-term (5–6 months) just to lose \~25 lbs? Worth it vs doing high-protein + lifting alone? Would love honest experiences. Struggling to loose weight.
