[Product Request] affordable exfoliant recs

Hi I’m not great with skincare but I want to help my boyfriend with his. I’m looking for an affordable exfoliant for his face mostly for when he shaves so it wouldn’t be used everyday but if there’s one that would still be good for everyday that’d be great to! He has acne prone skin but also gets pretty dry sometimes mainly in his t zone. If it’s between and exfoliant for acne vs dryness acne would be the preferable problem considering acne is more of a problem on his chin area. I was thinking something along the lines of inkey list or the ordinary but I will take any advice you have!
