Male, 31 approximately 190 lbs. Am getting weird splotches on my skin?

I started getting a weird splotchy area on my skin around my chest area about a year ago. It looks like it's spreading around other areas on my body. They dont hurt or itch at all, I can just see them. Was wondering if i could find out anything so I don't go to the doctors over something not serious.
