Day of dose

So my day is typically Wednesday for taking my injection. I totally flaked on taking it yesterday, so I took it today (Thursday). I noticed online that it typically says to stay on your old schedule (ie go back to Wed) but curious what others have done. I’m not asking for medical advice since I know either day is fine, but want to know if anyone felt like 6 days was too soon. Also the dose I’m on has been a bit tougher than the prior doses in terms of side effects (12.5) so I’m doing a second month to level off. Thx!
