How do you actually relax when choosing something feels exhausting?

Lately, I’ve been realizing that even when I’m tired and really want to rest, I struggle to actually relax. At night, I’ll open Netflix or another app thinking, “Okay, I’m finally going to unwind and enjoy my night.” But instead of feeling calm, I end up scrolling for 30-40 minutes, doubting every option there is, checking reviews, switching apps, and overthinking everything. By the time I pick something (if I even do), I’m already overstimulated and mentally drained. A lot of nights, I just give up and scroll on my phone instead, even though that doesn’t really help me rest either. It feels like choosing something to watch turns into another mental workout instead of something relaxing. I know ADHD plays a big role in this for me. Decision paralysis, overthinking, and getting stuck in “just one more scroll” mode makes it hard to shut my brain off.
