I have two kids, the last one is 18 month.. I recently saw a doctor because I had pain in my neck/shoulder blade and numbness in my index finger. The doctor I saw sent me for an MRI and gave me the results yesterday: moderate foraminal stenosis due to osteoarthritis and focal bulging of the disc. He didn't explain anything else and spoke about it as if it were a minor problem, just in a bad location. He recommended physiotherapy but no other treatment since I'm breastfeeding and have had a stomach ulcer. I wasn't given any contraindications either. I'm an athletic person; I run, lift heavy weights, and ride horses, and the experiences of colleagues with similar problems are really discouraging. I feel like they're going to take away my identity and that I won't be able to do anything I truly love anymore. I was finally starting to live again, to love my body, to be satisfied with my body image after my pregnancies, and to do things for myself to rediscover who I am outside of motherhood. I’d love to hear your stories, to know a little more about what I might expect in the long term, etc.! Thank you
