Help Needed! Transdermal Fentanyl patch after surgery

I (43f) just had lipedema debulking surgery 10 days ago. I woke up with a Fentanyl patch on me and was told to take it off three days post-op. I have not slept in FOUR days and I'm wide awake, not even a bit tired. I feel very emotional and rather manic, and now I'm shivering even under three blankets and my hands are too shaky to even hold my phone in place so I am dictating this. I am very, very anxious and can't focus on a single thing for more than 3 minutes. I feel like I'm going insane! My friend told me she heard the patch might cause that. I have never in my life done drugs or had alcohol, and I generally lead a healthy, active lifestyle. What is happening to me? How can I make it stop? I won't see my surgeon until Monday and I'm going insane!
