Zepbound vs Ozempic real life experienced opinions please?

Post Content

my insurance stopped covering Ozempic. My doctors done two prior authorizations for Ozempic it keeps getting refused & Nothing’s moving forward with that. I mentioned this to my specialist in my concerns because Ozempic has helped with my joint pain, spinal pain, swelling legs as well as my A1c and some weight loss. That specialist said that because I have sleep apnea and other conditions, he was going to see if I could get approved for Zepbound with my insurance. That got refused so he is going to write a prior authorization. I will have to budget extremely, but I was thinking about doing that coupon for two months of either Ozempic or Zepbound. Does anybody have real life experience of being on one and switching to the other and specifically these questions from welcome to hear any opinion or experience on it? Did Zepbound help you with your joint pain? Did Zepbound help you with swelling legs? These are the two of most concerned about because those are the things that were really bad before; the pain i was feeling and Ozempic really helped make it disappear. I can walk normally without assistant devices now and I’m able to move around in my day with no pain and not dreading waking up each morning anymore. I have two pens left of Ozempic so I’m trying to make a plan how to extend it and I didn’t know if I should purchase the Ozempic with the no insurance option and the coupons that they offer continue with that or go with Zepbound; but I would wanna make sure that Zepbound would give the same results. Thank you.
