[Misc] Figured out I’m gluten intolerant and finally i stopped breaking out
Post Content
first of all, big thank you to user shkarroll!! your post from august 17 kicked off my deep dive into diet related acne causes & some of your recommendations (probiotics, more fiber, nutriskin app) rly helped me clear my skin. this was also the first time i heard about the gut-skin connection! back then i was at a low point as i felt rly unwell in my skin. I just came back from a trip to italy and had a huge breakout all of a sudden. it had never been this bad before even though i always had breakouts! after reading your post i was suspecting that it might have been something that i ate so i started cutting out different food and turns out my skin reacts rly negative to gluten! its a sad life as i haven’t found very good gluten free alternatives to pasta or bread yet (pls send some if you have) but at least my skin is much better now!
