New to natural sweeteners as an alternate to sugar.

Like the title says, I'm starting my weightloss journey right now. I don't want to follow some crash diets and lose weight quickly and drastically. 2 things I decided was to cut sugar completely(I can sense the 'so much for not being drastic' comments already 😂) and walk 10k steps a day. I surfed the web and found stevia to be a healthy alternative. Let me know if I'm wrong about that. Personally, I feel stevia has a unique and sharp taste which I don't like a lot and maybe it plays tricks with my mind and makes me believe that rather than using stevia in my hot drinks, I should drink it plainly 😭.
