Birth control for 6 months
Post Content
I had an IUD taken out in November to begin TTC our second child. We recently decided to pause TTC until August/September, and I would like to find a form of birth control that makes the most sense for that timeline. I'm also still kind of stabilizing hormonally from the IUD. I was considering the Depo shot, but I saw there is currently litigation regarding long-term use and meningioma tumors. I would only need 2 rounds of the shot, so I don't think that qualifies as long-term use, but idk if it's worth the risk. Is there another option that might make the most sense? I would prefer a hormonal method rather than relying solely on condoms. Thank you!
