[Product Question] should i bother with accutane if i mostly just have scars left

i have heard that accutane can have a slight effect with fading surface level scars (which i have quite a bit of), and i do still have a small amount of acne that i would like to clear up. i also think it would help since i am scared of suncream breaking me out, but obviously this is the main thing that fades scarring, so if i went on accutane i could wear suncream without fear. however, i am worried that could will thin and dry out my skin, making it look worse. or that it won’t affect my scarring so i will have gone through the purge and all the side effects for basically no reason. if anyone has experience with accutane and scarring please share your experience it would be so helpful!
