"In Range" but still symptomatic...
Post Content
Hey all. Feeling a bit at a loss and hoping to get feedback. I started Levo 25 mcg in September 2025 after finally getting labs that my TSH is high (after being symptomatic for months \*even years\* before) - I immediately felt relief after starting it. Energy was back, headaches were gone, brain fog cured and anxiety gone. I felt like my old self! Fast forward to now, Feb 2026. I thought I was going through a flare (not sure from what though after being so careful!) That's been ongoing for weeks. Typically if I feel a flare, I know if I rest and take it easy for a few days, it'll go away. Lately though, I've felt no relief no matter what and that awful teeth gritting anxiety (esp at night) is back. I'm feeling fatigue, brain fog, all the awful symptoms that I had before Levo. I went in for bloodwork yesterday (they only ran TSH...) and my TSH 2.93. Last year when I got my 8 week check up after starting Levo (blood draw on Oct 2025) I was 3.43. I know just TSH bloodwork doesn't show the full story. I also was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this. Is it an indication to lower Levo? To up it? Is this more indicitive of hyper? I get cold/hot flashes too. I'm just feeling so lost. Also haven't been able to lose weight even since starting Levo, so unsure if the dose just isn't enough? I got in with an Endo next week and I want to go in prepared. The anxiety and fatigue are the worst part and I just want to go back to feeling like myself. To add: I'm doing gluten free 80% of the time (when possible, I really try) and quite dairy-free as well. I stopped working out to try and limit additional inflammation. I don't know what else to try, and really open to thoughts/others' experiences. TIA
