Question on how to help my shbg
Post Content
Hi everyone. So I started my testosterone restoration journey a few months back. Like sept of 25. My total t clocked in at 174ng/dl and I jumped on enclomiphene at 25mg daily for a month, saw my numbers jump to the 500’s, and now have been on 50mg for a few months and have seen my numbers climb to 727. But my free T is stupid high at 285pg/ml due to abysmally low shbg that’s driven by hepatic insulin resistance. Anyone have any idea how to actually help my liver out? I literally can’t lose weight unless I completely starve myself because my liver is constantly producing sugar and keeping my blood sugar over 105 even when fasting. Any ideas are much appreciated. I do cardio 5x a week and keep most of it in zone 2 to keep it to fat burning just so you guys know I’m not a lazy slob 😂. 220, 5’10” 35 years old and good muscle, definitely got some fat to lose though. Bf% is like 24%
