I'm on day whatever of a tension headache/migraine combo and ran out of milk while making my iced chai. I only needed a bit more milk so in a migraine fog I thought well we have heavy cream, I can just add a splash of that and it will be like whole milk. I was so wrong. Mouth feel is horrible. BUT. The combo of my usual extra strong chai with a shot of super fatty dairy? Almost instant migraine relief. I made a post about a month ago asking what folks are eating during attacks and a lot of people (myself included) said that ice cream helped. Fatty foods in general seemed to be high up on the list of foods that helped folks during or recovering from an attack. So, if you consume dairy and are someone that turns to ice cream for your migraines, adding some heavy cream to your coffee or tea may help you too. I hope this helps someone else!
