Does this burn need medical attention?
Post Content
26F, from East Coast US, 5’7” and about 140lbs, anxiety & mental health issues (on Lexapro), asthma is only medical concern Hi, I woke up this morning to this burn, likely from my heating pad. I’ve used a heating pad for years and never had this issue before, so not sure what happened. Throughout the morning the blister has gotten bigger and bigger and it’s quite painful. I’m also have digestive issues but unsure if that’s related or something else, or due to the anxiety about the burn. I do not have time to go to the doctors today because I work two jobs and won’t get off until 10pm, unless it’s advised that I do get it checked out today? I don’t think my primary care could squeeze me in but there are walk-in clinics near me. I’d like to avoid going there if possible because of how much illness is going around! I’ve run it under cold water and bandaged it with neosporin. Not planning to pop the blister. Pic: https://imgur.com/a/burn-v1fXB6P
