ETA I have also started gargling with warm salt water which also helps but only temporarily. Hello. 51 AFAB 5' 1" 199 lbs Started to feel sick on Tuesday (Congestion, runny nose, cough) I attended my nephews birthday party on Saturday and there was a coughing toddler there. So I believe that's where I picked it up. The end of yesterday and today I have been experiencing severe throat pain. It feels like I swallowed broken glass or razors. Throat spray numbs it temporarily and I'm terrified to cough. I had tomato soup yesterday and it burned when I ate it. (Not temperature wise). I'm currently taking Alka Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine for the other symptoms. No fever. I am a Type 2 Diabetic with Hashimotos. I take Metformin, Levothyroxine, and Atorvastatin. Wondering if there's anything else I can do at home to help. Thank you m
