Need alternatives for Retinol

Are there any friendlier alternatives for this? Right now I’m using this every other night between Azelaic acid. I’ve heard about Purito and Beekman 1802 products which claim to have ingredients acting the same as retinol but gentler. I’d like to see if switching to a different serum would benefit more than just switching between retinol and azelaic acid every other night.
