Advice from people with lupus

I’m a 33-year-old woman living with lupus. My disease is relatively mild, I don’t have much pain and I can live my life pretty normally. However, lupus (and maybe the medications) has deeply affected my sexual desire. I don’t feel the desire to initiate sex, and most of the time I don’t feel sexual interest at all. This has been really hard for me emotionally. My husband says he understands and tries to be patient, but he has a high libido, and I’m scared that this difference could eventually hurt our relationship. I love my husband and I want our relationship to survive, but I’m struggling with fear and insecurity around this. I would really appreciate hearing from people who understand this from personal experience. Thank you..
