Hello 👋 Female early 40s Intermittent iron anaemia deficiency for years Polyp removed when I was 35 - found incidentally Rectal haemorrhage on Sunday , lots of blood , bowel turned bright red Saw doc on Monday , examined and no obvious haemorroids Fits test Wednesday results today 554ug - no obvious blood in the sample by sight No blood test offered for anaemia Doc says repeat fits in 2 weeks Has referred me for a colonoscopy, but not on an urgent 2 week wait basis I’m worried , referral is still with the secretaries and hasn’t been typed yet , seems no urgency Can you help - do I not fit the guidelines for a 2 week wait basis? Thank you x
