Is it possible to have a reflux baby who is a great sleeper (no meds yet)

Nine week old baby who is not taking 24 oz and only gained 1 lb 9 oz since birth almost nine weeks ago Anyone have a reflux baby who is a great sleeper. GI and ped recommend reflux med for our baby due to poor weight gain. Baby will not take more than 2.5 oz at nine weeks. I struggle to see any silent reflux symptoms except poor weight gain. Baby loves to sleep and is so happy.
