Rinvoq & VBeam

Post Content

After 10 months of suffering from a painful red swollen face and trying to fix it … I can finally say that between Rinvoq (an oral medication for autoimmune disorders) and 6 sessions of VBeam in an 8 month span…. I have found what works for me. Sharing in case this might help anyone else struggling. I started the Rinvoq November 29th and within 4/6 weeks the painful red flushing stopped as if magic. I read that they’ve actually been using these types of meds experimentally to treat rosacea, but mine was actually prescribed for my psoriatic arthritis. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that everything got progressively better after I started taking the Rinvoq. The 6 sessions of VBeam went like this. The first 4 treated overall redness and broken vessels. The last two were more targeted and were the two where I saw the most noticeable improvements. I’m almost 100% sure that my rosacea was caused by a flare up of my autoimmune disorder so I really think they should be treating treatment resistant rosacea with immunosuppressants. Anyways that’s what helped me. I tried doxycycline, ivermectin, Rhofade, mirvaso, and azelaic acid. Nothing topical worked at all for me. Even the Mirvaso and Rhofade didn’t help. They didn’t cause rebound redness for me but they didn’t work at all like 0% for me. I think if your rosacea is as bad as mine was definitely ask your doctor about something like Rinvoq. Can’t hurt to ask anyways.
