Procrastinating on 3 month HRT checkup, don’t know how it works/what to do
Post Content
I got my informed consent and testosterone prescription at a Planned Parenthood clinic a few months ago which I’m so happy about, but some time during all of that I got caught up with life and the three months just flew by so I was delaying on making another appointment but I know I need to because it was my responsibility, but when I search all throughout trans subs most just say their lab levels instead of how the follow-up visits went/what to expect (experience/cost/etc). I have a few questions about it so I’ll put them below Should I call and ask for an appointment instead of filling out the application on the website, if so is it Gender Care like the first one and do I have to clarify it’s for blood labs? (Social anxiety) Would I get in trouble/have incorrect information for not getting labs last month as this month is my fourth on HRT? When I used up all of my refills can/do I call and ask for a new prescription whenever? I can’t drive as I don’t have a license and last time I asked to be driven in person by someone I know as a favor once so now I don’t have anyone available to help and if I possibly get stranded if I try to go by myself, would making a telehealth appointment be possible? I prefer in person appointments but travel and cost are an issue (the closest clinic I went to is an hour away from me)
